All about our Certified Organic Poultry Feed for your backyard hens.
Our specialist poultry nutritionist has made sure there’s everything here that your chickens will need to be strong, healthy and happy. For example, there’s calcium to support growing bones in the chicks. It also makes strong eggshells so there’s no shattered eggs in the nest. We’ve included other nutrients too – from protein to replenish your hen’s energy to carotenoids to ensure healthy, bright yolks. And a selection of approved herbs and botanicals assist with disease and internal parasite control. These high-quality products are made with the same formulas as the products we supply to commercial organic egg farmers.
We use organic ingredients, because we’re committed to supporting organic farmers and environmental sustainability. We’re also dedicated to helping you grow healthy birds.
It’s best to combine our certified organic feeds with the organic philosophy of using environmentally friendly organic products in any area the birds have access to. Then you can enjoy healthy home-grown organic eggs, just the way eggs used to be. Access to roaming freely also means the birds have a happy life. Happy birds mean more eggs – and healthier eggs!
The range is also suitable for other poultry such as ducks.
Our award-winning range
of poultry feeds
Get your chickens laying for life.
Your feathered friends love the goodness of bugs and grubs they find while foraging in the garden.
This feed is formulated to give them everything else they need for a healthy diet.
Eating more eggs than your chickens can lay?
Its time to give them a Boost. Each egg a hen lays depletes energy, protein and other nutrients.
This feed is the one we supply to the organic egg farmers. We recommend it when your birds aren’t able to roam in the grass.
We also do soy-free chicken feeds.
When ‘no-soy’ is a prerequisite then the best choice is this High Protein mix which is guaranteed free of soy grains and additives. Your gals will love the grain options they find in the mix, while getting all the nutritional benefits of a diverse diet to ensure their best health.
Start your babies off on the right foot.
Carefully selected nutrients in the crumble (such as calcium) set your chicky babies up to become healthy hens. The Starter comes in crumble form so it’s the right size for little beaks. Suitable for feeding chickens up to 16 weeks, or laying age.
For birds who like to make their own choices
Bugs, grubs and scratchings are all in a days work for a hen. And that’s why healthy birds will prefer the visual appeal of coarse cracked grains rather than a pellet feed. It ensures the ladies enjoy one of their favourite activities, while still getting the nutrients they require.
Vegetarian feed means vegetarian eggs.
When you want to maintain your own vegetarian diet and lifestyle, feed your laying hens our Vegetarian Mix.
Using mostly grain-based ingredients it’s formulated to provide your feathered friends with a balanced and nutritious diet.

Our products are available in the following sizes:
Why choose crumbles?
Application: for young birds
- Better for smaller beaks of chicks and young birds.
- Prevents selective feeding thus ensuring chicks eat the full nutritional profile of the feed.
- Heating process generated through crumbling process limits possible pathogens.
Why choose mash?
Application: feed containers
- Mash is the preferred feeding method for commercial chickens.
- Stimulates digestive activity in bird’s crop.
- Recommended by our animal nutritionist for better bird health.
- Best used in feeding containers to reduce waste.
Why choose pellets?
Application: for foraging hens
- Helps avoid selective feeding as hens are foraging.
- Ensures full nutrient intake.
- Reduces wastage.
- Helps prevent possible pest issues when storing products for longer periods of time.
Why choose scratch mix?
Application: for foraging hens
- Visually appealing for foragers.
- Coarsely cracked grains allow hens to select nutrients that they may be lacking.
- Unlike the mash, non-grain additives are pelletised then broken and mixed with the grains, reducing waste.
- N.B. Whole & cracked grains are more susceptible to pest infestation.
